Big Thanks to WARM Company

A big THANK YOU to the WARM Company for their donation of charity batting to the American Hero Quilt project.

On the ferry to Vashon. Some batting stayed in Kitsap County for the quilters there so room in the back for a quilt.

When this vehicle backed onto the ferry I couldn't help but laugh. If that was batting, how many quilts could we make? Thanks again to all who help with the American Hero Quilt Project. We are now over 9,500 quilt "hugs" we have given to our wounded.

The American Hero Quilt Booth at the APWQ Show in Tacoma. We met many quilters who have decided to join this project. Thank you so much, we can use lots of help so we can get quilts on more of our injured servicemembers. For those of you living in the Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR area we have had Jack and Perri Poe volunteer to be a drop off and exchange point. Soon they will have quilt tops, batting and backing to give to the Longarm Quilters in that area and finished quilts can be dropped off as well. For more information please email AHQ through the website Thanks for everyones help.
